Paper is not just a material- it is a source of joy and can give you some sublime experience with its touch. KMNR is an art collective initiated by Gen Taniguchi, the seventh generation of the handmade washi paper manufacturer with 300 years of history.
KMNR creates objects and art pieces in a new interpretation by making full use of the papermaking techniques that have been handed down over the years.
This work made from the poster that has been re-stitched by traditional papermaking techniques. Feel the new expression drawn from the paper.
